Susitna River Coalition
Environment
The Susitna River Coalition is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to protecting Alaska’s natural resources and fostering sustainable communities in the Susitna River watershed and beyond. We collaborate with local residents, tribal organizations, businesses, and conservation partners to advocate for the health of ecosystems that support vital fish and wildlife populations, traditional ways of life, and sustainable economic opportunities. Our work includes community education, habitat restoration, and policy advocacy, all aimed at ensuring the long-term resilience of Alaska’s environment and the well-being of its people. Guided by science, respect for local knowledge, and a commitment to future generations, we strive to empower communities to be active stewards of their natural heritage.
